Welcome to the LIVE online edition of the Certificate in Cake Artistry Course. This course will run for a duration of 3 weeks. Classes are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1:30pm. Upon completion, all successful participants will receive ACTD internationally accredited certification!
Introductory cost $2000TT or Two payments of $1000 inclusive of all tools, recipes and ingredients! All cycles moving forward will cost $2250. You will gain access to mentorship, community engagements and our digital course booklet. You must have all tools materials and ingredients, You will be provided with a detail tool listing and places tools and ingredients can be purchased.

You will get acquainted with our online platform, meet your instructor and learn more about what the course is about and what your journey will be!
MODULE 3: Cake Baking 101
Learn to make classic sponge cake, vanilla cake, chocolate, red velvet and marble cakes all from scratch! You will learn about different cake-mixing methods and how to identify different issues that can occur when baking cakes.
MODULE 1: Kitchen Safety and Recipe Costing
This is a theory class that's perfect if you plan on monetizing your hobbies! You will learn an international standard for food preparation and sanitation as well as how to cost the recipes used in the course!
MODULE 4: Cake Filling and Flavouring
Learn to layer and level cakes, prepare dessert fillings and efficiently maximize your ingredients to reduce wastage.
MODULE 2: Buttercream and Piping Techniques
Learn the difference between types of buttercream and when is the best time to use them. You will also learn classic piping techniques such as; shell designs, rosettes, writing and more!
MODULE 5: Fondant Artistry
Make fondant from scratch and practice covering cake dummies with fondant. Learn different decorating techniques that would provide a great foundation for cake decorating.
FINAL ASSESMENT
Students will be required to design and create a 2-tier cake based on a given theme, incorporating specific techniques covered in the course, such as buttercream, fondant, textures, or painting. To complete the assessment, students must submit high-quality images of their cake, including front, side, and close-up shots of details, along with a short video (1-3 minutes) explaining their inspiration, techniques used, and any challenges faced. Additionally, they may include a brief write-up describing their process.
